2010 was a great year for real estate in Brazil. 2011 promises more of the same on the back of the largest real estate transaction in Brazil in general.

PROSPERITAS, one of the best funds in Brazil, management and private equity company, has just made an investment of R $ 2200000000 (U.S. $ 1,300,000,000) in real estate in Brazil. PROSPERITAS recently 30 Assets of Bracor, an acquired Brazil’s largest real estate companies outsourcing and their real estate portfolio is run by 42 companies in Brazil. Sam Zell, a billionaire property magnate and avid supporter of investments in Brazil, investing in Bracor.

The properties of the Brazilian PROSPERITAS 1 million square feet building purchased. Most companies are real estate with long-term leases. The tenants are IBM, Procter & Gamble and Goodyear, and an annual turnover of tenancies run to R $ 230,000,000. This figure gives a good indication of the dynamic market for commercial property investments in Brazil.
